Mallette Imposteur

The "Imposteur" computer case is made of flooring vinyl remaining. This project was in the context of a course where we had one month to create a product in several copies and sell it.

Imposteur is french for impostor. Why? It is not exactly real wood.
The objective was to create, produce and market  a product for a small scale sale within a month. The result was a laptop case made out of leftover vinyl flooring. It is scratch proof and can be washed with water and soap. The inside is furry and soft, to keep the precious device intact. It is made 95% out of recycled materials and is 100% recyclable.
Every case came with one of sixteen diffrent illustrations on it, all of which have the word "bois" (wood in French) or a strong cultural references related to the word.
